– We learn to shut out external activity
– We learn to meditate on God’s nature

Women's Bible Study September ~ December 2017

Bible Study - “Fight Back With Joy” by Margaret Feinberg, 6 weeks
Learn to practice joy, defiant joy. Sooner or later, we find ourselves on the battlefield of life and struggle to know how to respond. But God says, "Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's" (2 Chronicles 20:15). On that fateful day, King Jehoshaphat and his army marched forward rejoicing. Though we can choose from many weapons, God wants to empower us to fight back with joy. This study will help you embrace a life that's richer and fuller than you've ever known before—a life radiant with joy. Missions

Get involved in one of our local missions by volunteering either on a weekly or monthly basis.

Olive tree reading room - a community service group set up by Children's aid Society, which is a non profit foster care home for children 2-18, whose parents or family members are unable to provide care for them.
Tamar Village - This ministry reaches out to ladies trapped in the sex trade in Singapore. There is a skill center that teaches them skills that provide them with opportunities to pursue an alternative livelihood.
Baptist Golden Age Home - is a residential home and provides social and spiritual care for the elderly without family support.
Kingdom Treasures - This is a project initiated by missionaries in Phnom Penh Cambodia. Young women who who have faced exhortation make products (bag, wall hangings...) with IBC's assistance. IBC also helps to sell these items.

Special Events

The purpose of the Special Events ministry is to create lovely, memorable events and opportunities for the women of IBC to gather for fun, food and fellowship. These events help women get to know one another better in a convivial manner, while also being inspired by special programs. Yearly events to anticipate include an elegant Christmas luncheon in December and a Women’s Tea in May.
