The Young Adult Ministry here at IBC exists for single young adult’s ages 18-35 years old.  The ministry is based on Genesis 12:1 where God called Abraham to leave his country, and family.  This time in any young adult’s life is one that involves a lot of transition like Abraham. 

There are three major transitions that young adults make:

• Transition into tertiary school.
• Transition into the workforce.
• Transition into adult life.  

Each young adult goes through at least two of these transitions during their lifetime.  As a young adult ministry, it is important that IBC help young adults through navigate these times of transition by looking at God’s Word.
